Column layouts can be offered in the most economic configurations or individually designed to provide the clearest possible space for your ground floor activities.
Our mezzanine floors are designed and built to meet all current legislation including Building Regulations and BRE Digest 437. The free standing, demountable nature of the mezzanine floors mean that additional space will be created without adding any rateable value to your premises.
Mezzanine floors are suitable for the purpose of storage, offices, or production facilities. Alternatively, they can be constructed as maintenance platforms and gantries in line with current Working at Height legislation.
We also offer solutions enabling access to equipment (at heights) which could be in the form of a mobile platform or a permanent structure – eliminating the need for scaffolding.
Did you know?
Every mezzanine floor or raised platform should be submitted for local authority approval – which we can help you with if required. This is to ensure that the structure is fit for purpose (correctly engineered) and its installation will not undermine the building in which it is to be installed or adversely affect the fabric of the building and/or its neighbouring units.
Dependant on its purpose and the size of the structure in relation to the area in which it is to be installed, and as part of meeting regulations, consideration must be given and to the provision of adequate fire protection, warning alarms and emergency exits.
